Babarinde Eulogizes Osun Deputy Speaker on Donation of 15,000 Exercise Books, other writing Materials to Ife North Students.
The former Executive Assistant to Osun State Former Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on Students' Affairs, Hon. Funmiso Babarinde has eulogized the Osun State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi for his generosity and sincerity of purpose by donating 15,000 Exercise Books and other writing Materials to over four thousand students of Ife North Local Government area today.
Babarinde who made this statement while speaking with reporters at Ipetumodu shortly after the presentation of the books said "I thank Ife North people for believing in the choice of the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate during the March 2023 state Assembly elections," he also said he
"I am overwhelmed by the event of today particularly by the commitments of this our very young brother, Hon Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi who has lived up to the expectations of the party and the people of Ife North who trusted and gave him their mandate during the state parliament election."
In his reaction, Hon. Abayomi Ojo-Segun, another indigene of Ife North Local Government added that he was happy for the people of Ife North, especially the Peoples Democratic Party for not allowing political, personal interests and minor avoidable disagreements to rob his people of the accruable dividends of democracy when Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi was picked as the PDP candidate during the electioneering campaigns."
He therefore advised all Ife North indigenes to rally round all elected and appointed government officials who are now anchor men of the Senator Ademola Adeleke led government of Osun State.
Ojo-Segun reminded them that there is time for everything under the sun, according to him "governance entails politicking and and scheming but both of them has its own time, stressing further that governance is what is currently in town and we must all play our roles as stakeholders in Osun project so that the people could enjoy what they actually voted for which is the dividends of democracy, one of which is being witnessed today."
Prince Abiodun Adegoke from Area Office also praised the loyalty of Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi to the people of Ife North by playing the role of a good representative to his people.

He, however, praised the monarchs and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the local for supporting Hon. Oyewusi, despite being very young but with a royal blood flowing in his veins, according to one of the Kabiyesi's observation while commending the Deputy Speaker for being a pious Yoruba son.

In his final response, Hon. Babarinde thanked the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, his entire state Executives and the Adeleke Dynasty for giving Osun State PDP the impetus to be able to take over power in Osun State after 12 years of civil interegnum under the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Caretaker Chairman Hon Mike Akande, on behalf of the two other Chairmen Hon Tope Babawale and Hon Femi Eluyinka, also thanked Hon. Babarinde and his team who graced the occasion and gave kudos to the Osun State Governor, Yeyeluwa Dupe Adeleke and Dr. Deji Adeleke for their dexterity and determination by taking Osun state out of civil administration that looked like a military dictatorship for 12 years.

He therefore appealed to the people of Ife North to keep supporting the Peoples Democratic Party and all her candidates in future elections in order to encourage other candidates of the party to give back to the society as being witnessed today what is due for it for supporting a truly democratic political party.
