The former Executive Assistant to Osun State Former Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola on Students' Affairs, Hon. Funmiso Babarinde has eulogized the Osun State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Babarinde who made this statement while speaking with reporters at Ipetumodu shortly after the presentation of the books said "I thank Ife North people for believing in the choice of the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate during the March 2023 state Assembly elections," he also said he
"I am overwhelmed by the event of today particularly by the commitments of this our very young brother, Hon Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi who has lived up to the expectations of the party and the people of Ife North who trusted and gave him their mandate during the state parliament election."
In his reaction, Hon. Abayomi Ojo-Segun, another indigene of Ife North Local Government added that he was happy for the people of Ife North, especially the Peoples Democratic Party for not allowing political, personal interests and minor avoidable disagreements to rob his people of the accruable dividends of democracy when Hon. He therefore advised all Ife North indigenes to rally round all elected and appointed government officials who are now anchor men of the Senator Ademola Adeleke led government of Osun State.

He, however, praised the monarchs and leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in the local for supporting Hon. Oyewusi, despite being very young but with a royal blood flowing in his veins, according to one of the Kabiyesi's observation while commending the Deputy Speaker for being a pious Yoruba son.

In his final response, Hon. Babarinde thanked the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, his entire state Executives and the Adeleke Dynasty for giving Osun State PDP the impetus to be able to take over power in Osun State after 12 years of civil interegnum under the All Progressives Congress, APC.
