LG Crisis: PDP Chieftain Faults Oyetola's Silence, Calls For Urgent Resolution. Osogbo, December 24, 2025 A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Mr Funmiso Babarinde, has questioned the silence of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on the crisis rocking local government administration in the state. In an open letter to the former Governor of the state, Babarinde alleged that Oyetola seems not to be bothered about the crises, noting that the situation does not portray the Minister as an elder statesman whose role is to mediate and resolve issues in Osun irrespective of party colouration.
