OSSIEC Restricts Election Access to Authorized Media and Observers Osogbo, February 20, 2025. Osogbo, February 20, 2025 – The Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) has announced strict access regulations for media and observer teams ahead of the local government elections scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025. According to a statement issued by OSSIEC’s Information Officer, Sadiat Isiaka, only media organizations and observer teams duly authorized by the Commission will be granted access to polling units, wards, local government areas, and the Central Collation Centre during the election. Such authorized personnel must bear official tags and jackets provided by the Commission .
