Osun Deputy Speaker Celebrates General Alani Akinrinade at 85, Describes the War General as a man with Extended Legacies.

The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Akinyode Oyewusi has eulogized General Alani Akinrinade as a man with extended legacies.

Oyewusi in a short birthday message to celebrate the renowned war veteran which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo recently said he was happy to be associated with the celebrant whom he described as a man with extended legacies beyond his home base of Ife North Local Government Area.

In his words, Rt. Hon. Oyewusi wrote "I write to celebrate our father, an elder statesman, former Minister of Agriculture, General of generals, former Chief of Army Staff, and Chief of Defense Staff, General Ipoola Alani Akinrinade (rtd), on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary today, October 3rd."

"On this wonderful day, I wish you a very happy birthday and convey my heartfelt gratitude for your long-standing devotion to our great nation. Your leadership, dedication, and patriotism continue to inspire everyone."

"I am always proud to be associated with you, a true elder statesman whose legacy extends across Ife North, Osun State, and Nigeria at large."
