Olorunda LG Campaign: Unprecedented Multitudes Declare Unwavering Support for PDP at Ward 006.

The campaign train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Olorunda Local Government stormed Ward 6 today, January 30, 2025, drawing an overwhelming crowd of supporters. 

Residents lauded the exceptional leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing his administration as a beacon of excellence, with undeniable achievements that have positively transformed Osun State.

Aare AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa Asejere, the chairman of the campaign team, expressed profound gratitude to religious and traditional leaders, as well as the residents, for their steadfast support of Governor Adeleke’s administration. He emphasized that their unwavering commitment has been instrumental in the remarkable successes recorded so far.

Welcoming the campaign team and the large gathering, Chief Okeloye Tajudeen, the Oluode of Osogbo-land, commended Olorunda LG for presenting credible candidates across its eleven wards. He described the chairmanship flagbearer, Hon. Obafemi Kolade, and his running mate, Hon. Isiaka Akinloye, as beacons of hope, poised to elevate Olorunda Local Government to greater heights.

Similarly, Sheikh Abdulyekeen Bello, the Imam-Oganla and head of Imams in Owo Oope, acknowledged the PDP's track records of impactful governance. He particularly praised the leadership of Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Olaoluwa Asejere during his tenure as council chairman, affirming that the PDP has consistently delivered the dividends of democracy across the state.

The campaign event witnessed the presence of esteemed leaders from across Olorunda Local Government, including Pst. Funso Ishola; Hon. Olaide Ajibola; Hon. Kunle Ojetola; Hon. Olaoluwa Asejere Storms the Islamic Burial Rite of Alhaji PA Muraina Ogundeji, Father of Hon Akeem Ayobami Indeed, it is certain that everyone would taste death as it is evitable. Lately today, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, led his political dynasty to the burial function of Alhaji Muraina Ogundeji, Father of Hon Akeem Ayobami Ogundeji who is also one of the Senior Special Assistants to the Governor. Asejere, while describing the deceased stated that " PA Ogundeji lives an exemplary life guided by core principles. He is generous and honest to the fault. I am grieved by the loss of this great man whose exit shall be missed".  The deceased was buried according to Islamic rite at his residence, Ayetoro Area, Ifon Osun by 4 pm.  May Allah grant the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
