Nigerians have described as unreasonable, unbelievable and embarrassing, a viral video of how INEC staff were captured thumb printing ballot papers in a hall where nobody can say precisely its location.

The video which captured some Ad-Hoc and other staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission caught in a video thumb printing ballot papers and no particular political party was shown but the Presiding officer was the one throwing the thumb printed ballot papers into the ballot box.

For INEC to have promised Nigerians a credible election and the incidence of rigging is going on unabated is not only disturbing but disheartening and unbelievable..

It is therefore expedient that the Independent National Electoral Commission must come out clean on this viral video and make sure that the perpetrators are brought to book and severe punitive measures should be taken against these heartless and hopeless citizens in order to serve as deterrent to others who may want to take such inglorious steps in future.
