In furtherance of his resolve  to make his constituents self reliant, the senator representing Osun East senatorial district, Prince Francis Fadahunsi has  trained 115 youths in ICT and Solar energy as well as empowered them with necessary tools worth millions of naira.
The 5-day programme had participants most of whom were  youths drawn from all the 10  local governments and the area office  in Ife-Ijesa Senatorial District.

Represented by Mr  Wole Afolaju during the closing ceremony of  the 5-day programme, Senator Fadahunsi stressed that the youths constituted the largest percent of  the country's population hence the need for them to be adequately catered for.
The senator who dismissed insinuations in some quarters that his series of empowerment programmes were politically motivated, hinted that he would continue to do his best towards making life more conducive for his constituents, especially the youths who are assuming the status of family heads leadership positions of their various communities in a matter of few years.

Speaking on the benefits of the renewable energy, the trainer from EWAKITTY Nigeria Limited, Mrs Ursula Womo expressed optimism that the program would not only assist the beneficiaries to be self sufficient, noting that it will also help to  address problems associated with electricity generation in the Senatorial District which by extension, Osun State in general.
A legislative aid to Senator Fadahunsi, Chief Femi Fadipe also disclosed that the lawmaker had approved millions of naira to lit up the round about - Ereja-Owa palace road with solar energy.

Two of the beneficiaries Messrs Sunday Ojojolu and Sunday Iyiade were full of praises to Senator Francis Fadahunsi for the kind gesture noting that the Senator has rightly placed them on the path of self sustainability.
