PDP Zonal Vice Chairman To Tour South-West States, Sets Up Committees. - Chief Sanya Atofarati


Arrangements have been concluded for the smooth take off of tour of the  South-West  states by the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South West Zone.The tour is expected to reposition  the party for victories in the coming elections in the zone .
A statement made available to news men in Ibadan by the Zonal Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Sanya Atofarati said the tour would be led by His Excellency, Hon. Olasoji Clement Adagunodo, the newly inaugurated National  Vice Chairman of PDP in the South West. 

The Committees, according to the statement, have been set up at the Zonal office in order to make the task easy for the PDP leaders.The statement further said that Adagunodo who officially resumed duty at the Zonal Office in Ibadan today (Tuesday, 14 December, 2021), was expected to kickstart the tour with the visits to Ekiti and Osun States.

Chief Atofarati explained that Adagunodo, during visits, is expected to interface with party leaders and other stakeholders with a view to resolving whatever crises or differences amongst PDP members in those states. 

He disclosed that the zonal leaders would leave no stone unturned at ensuring that  the PDP reclaimed the two states from the rival All Progressives Congress (APC).“As specific measures, committees were set up to work with the Chairman for Zonal tour which is to commence with visit to Ekiti state, tentatively, next week.  

During this visit, the committee shall interface with party leaders and stakeholders to find a lasting peace across the entire region. “The Adagunodo Agenda is Unification of party members and stakeholders to ensure the party is returned to its previous winning culture”, the statement said.
