COURT NULLIFIES SUNDAY BISI, AFFIRMS BARR. WALE OJO AS OSUN PDP ACTING CHAIRMAN, ALSO AFFIRMS ADAGUNODO-LED CONGRESSES.

The Osun State High Court, Ile-Ife this morning confirmed the Chairmanship of Barrister Wale Ojo as Osun State Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
A short message from the court premises reads this:

BREAKING NEWS: PDP LEADERSHIP AND WARD CONGRESS SUIT @ILE IFE HIGH COURT
Request to set aside judgement has failed. Judgement of November 22 recognizing Soji Adagunodo and his actions remains valid. Adagunodo’s congresses are valid. Sunday Bisi’s chairmanship is illegal … illegal. Wale Ojo is the valid Acting Chairman of PDP

According to the Judgment “the request to set aside an earlier judgment that affirmed the Chairmanship of His Excellency, Hon. Clement Olasoji Adagunodo as the Osun State Chapter chairman of the party from March 25, 2018 till November 25, 2021 has been set aside and Adagunodo’s chairmanship for the period and congresses conducted under his leadership remains valid as the only one that has the power to conduct the governorship primary of the party on March 7th, 2022.

According the judgment, the decision of critical stakeholders of the party to pick Barrister Wale Ojo as the Acting Chairman of Osun PDP has also been validated by the party until another congress is held to replace the vacancy created by the resignation of Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo.

In effect, the purported usurpation of power by the State Publicity Secretary of the party as Osun State Chairman of the party by the former National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus has also been nullified and declared illegal which also translates to mean that all congresses allegedly conducted by him have been sanctioned by the judgment of today.

That also has placed Hon. Sunday Bisi back to his position as the State Publicity Secretary of the party and any claim to the Chairmanship of PDP in Osun State by Sunday Bisi is tantamount to CONTEMPT OF COURT which carries a JAIL TERM and FINE or BOTH.
