BREAKING-2023: Ife Federal Constituency Adopts Dr. Ayoade Adewopo as its House of Representatives Candidate.

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ife Federal Constituency of Osun State in a unanimous decision this afternoon, Monday, March 28, 2022  adopted Dr. Ayoade Adewopo as the constituency's sole candidate for the Federal House of Representatives in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
The message on the adoption which was conveyed to the media in Ile-Ife today was the outcome of the leaders' decision to favour those who are loyal to the party in their struggle to ensure the upholding of the Democratic Tenets and Principles of Equity, Justice and Fairness especially to those who have been loyal to the party.

Dr. Adewopo was one of the party's governorship aspirants in 2018 but was asked by the leadership of the party to step down at the peak of politicking when the deputy Governorship slot was zoned to Ife federal constituency where he hails from.

It was suggested that the entire house should give their maximum support and cooperation to Dr. Ayoade Adewopo as the flag bearer of the party in the 2023 general elections.
