Asejere Hails Muslims on Eid-al-Adha, Calls for Peaceful Coexistence, Harmony, and Unity.
In a heartfelt message on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Hon Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Alhaji Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa has extended his warm greetings to Muslims around the world. Recognizing the significance of this holy celebration, he emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, harmony, and unity among all communities.

Eid-al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for Muslims to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is a period marked by prayer, reflection, and acts of charity. He highlighted these values in his message, urging everyone to draw inspiration from the spirit of sacrifice and generosity that defines this festival.

In his address, he stated, "Eid-al-Adha is a profound reminder of the values of sacrifice, compassion, and community. It is a time for all of us to come together, regardless of our differences, and foster a spirit of unity and understanding."

He called upon people of all faiths and backgrounds to use this occasion as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity. Let us celebrate our diversity and uphold the principles of respect and tolerance."
