Osun Commissioner for Political Affairs and Inter-governmental Relations distributes Rice and Cash to his people for Ileya.


The Honourable Commissioner for Political Affairs and Inter-governmental Relations, Hon. Dr Biyi Odunlade has shown remarkable generosity and goodwill to the good people of his local Government in Ife Central with Rice and Cash gifts.

In a show of love and appreciation to the good people of his local Government in Ile-Ife, Comrade Biyi Odunlade distributed rice and cash to the people of Ife  highlighting the importance of sacrifice, unity, and love that lies at the heart of Eid-el-Kabir.

In a statement, Hon. Odunlade praised the Muslim faithfuls for their dedication and spiritual commitment throughout the year, saying: “May the spirit of peace, harmony, and brotherhood that is being celebrated during Eid-el-Kabir continue to guide us in our daily lives.”

Hon. Odunlade also expressed his gratitude to the Executive Governor Of Osun State, Asiwaju Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and all Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders, emphasising the crucial role they played at ensuring peace and prosperity in the State.

In his words Hon. Odunlade said“I commend our leaders for their commitment to the development and wellbeing of our state. I am particularly grateful to Governor Adeleke for setting the pace for the rapid development of the State and for his love for the people of Osun State."

On their part, the beneficiaries of Dr Odunlade's largesse, the electorate and PDP members expressed joy and appreciation to the Commissioner for putting smile on the faces of Ife people.

Moreover, Dr Biyi Odunlade took the opportunity to laud Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for his dedication to promoting religious harmony and cooperation in the state.

“Under his leadership, our community has become stronger and more united. I thank the Governor for his tireless efforts in fostering understanding and tolerance amongst our diverse religious communities.”
