Senator Lere Oyewumi Hails Speaker Egbedun On His Birthday

The Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Akogun Lere Oyewumi, PhD, congratulated the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun, on the occasion of his birthday.
Sen. Oyewumi joined hands with the good people of the Odo-Otin local government area and Osun State at large to celebrate the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly on this auspicious anniversary of his birthday.

Extolling the quality leadership of Egbedun, Sen. Oyewumi said his humility, simplicity, courage, loyalty to his party and the state, consistency, connection with the grassroots, and being a team player in every step he takes for the good of the people and discipline in the discharge of his civic responsibility have brought the House to an enviable height by providing a harmonious space for all members to engage themselves in constructive debates both on state and national issues for the development of Osun people. 

"Mr. Speaker has over the past years demonstrated selflessness in his service in representing his constituency and maturity in his leadership of the House, which has contributed immensely to the healthy executive-legislature relations in the state. The Assembly under his administration has remained peaceful and always ready for the early passage of Bills that have impacted the lives of the Osun people.

Sen. Oyewumi said, “On behalf of my family, supporters, and the good people of Osun West Senatorial District, I celebrate with the number one Osun lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun on the occasion of his birth anniversary and his successful discharge of the functions of his office. We are entirely grateful to you."

“Mr. Speaker, as you mark your birth anniversary, I extend very warm greetings to you, and it is my prayer that the Almighty God continues to keep and prosper you. Especially as you continue to patriotically give yourself in support of this administration's efforts to make life meaningful for our people."

Olaoluwa Asejere Storms the Islamic Burial Rite of Alhaji PA Muraina Ogundeji, Father of Hon Akeem Ayobami Indeed, it is certain that everyone would taste death as it is evitable. Lately today, Alhaji Ganiyu Olaoluwa Asejere, Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, led his political dynasty to the burial function of Alhaji Muraina Ogundeji, Father of Hon Akeem Ayobami Ogundeji who is also one of the Senior Special Assistants to the Governor. Asejere, while describing the deceased stated that " PA Ogundeji lives an exemplary life guided by core principles. He is generous and honest to the fault. I am grieved by the loss of this great man whose exit shall be missed".  The deceased was buried according to Islamic rite at his residence, Ayetoro Area, Ifon Osun by 4 pm.  May Allah grant the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss.
