Sinking of Boreholes Across 332 Wards of Osun State by Governor Ademola Adeleke helps to ward off Water Borne Diseases.

A Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke, Hon. Abayomi Ojo-Segun has showered encomium on Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State for being pro-active when he was sinking boreholes across the 332 wards of Osun State which he said was germaine at stopping the spread of Water Borne diseases like Cholera, Guinea Warm etc. in the state.

Ojo-Segun who praised Governor Ademola Adeleke for his pro-active decisions ahead of many of his counterparts in other states in the country made this statement yesterday at Ilesa during the presentation of food packages to elderly people by Honourable Sanya Omirin in Ilesa East and West local government areas.

In his words, Ojo-Segun said "one of the hidden initial major benefits of Governor Ademola Adeleke's decision of sinking boreholes across the 332 Wards of Osun State was the prevention and spread of water borne diseases in Osun State.

Ojo-Segun said, "Osun is blessed with a man of vision and mission who possesses the willingness and intellectual wherewithal to tackle the dangerous situations before they bud into uncontrollable situations."

He also reminded the people about the dredging of major water ways across Osun State by the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke that has started several months before this year's raining season began which is still ongoing in order to prevent perennial floodings that always caused havoc for the people of the state."

He also added that "the effects of the ongoing infrastructural developments across the major towns in all the senatorial districts, federal constituencies and local government areas of the state will become another record that will be difficult to beat for several decades to come.

The Special Assistant to the Governor also praised the intuitive thinking of Hon. Sanya Omirin whom he said "has been giving the less privileged and elderly people of Ijesa South Federal Constituency palliatives even before his election and didn't not stop doing more for the people."

According to him, "the program that took place today (yesterday Tuesday June 18, 2024) was mainly for the elderly people" adding that Hon. Sanya Omirin said "the program for the youths and others would be taken care of with separate empowerment programs in the near future."

Ojo-Segun therefore congratulated the Osun State Chairman of PDP, Hon. Sunday Bisi for the crop of politicians that his party pushed forward to take charge of the current situation because of their level headed and selflessness with which they are responding to the yearnings of their constituents across all political jurisdictions of Osun State.

The Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke therefore advised Osun indigenes not to relent in supporting the government of Senator Ademola Adeleke and all PDP elected and appointed officers who are currently in charge for the continued and uninterrupted consolidation of the dividends of democracy that have started to flow into every nooks and crannies of the state."

He also advised "those who have not been reached by our appointed and elected officers to be patient adding that "it's impossible for everyone to be fixed at the same time, even if  resources are there, everybody would be reached without discrimination," he assured.

Signed,
Abayomi Ojo-Segun,
Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke.
