OLUOMO GBENGA OWOLABE DUMPS APC, RETURNS TO PDP.

The erstwhile former Chairman of Ife East Local Government are of Osun State and a notable Chieftain of the All Progress Congress, Oluomo Gbenga Owolabe has called it quit with his former political party, the All Progressives Congress and potted back to his old political party, the Peoples Democratic Party in a grand reception which is being hosted by the former and longest serving National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Professor Adewale Oladipo at the Enuwa Palace Square, Ile-Ife.
In a well drafted address by Oluomo Gbenga Owolabi which was sent out to the press titled “A New Chapter for Ile-Ife: My Return to PDP and Commitment to Progress” Oluomo Owolabi said the PDP is the only political party that has always been synonymous with the struggle for justice, equite, fairness and progress for all Nigerians.”
Owolabi, while reflecting on his time in the All Progressives Congress, Owolabi said he was "thankful for the experiences and lessons leaned. Below is the full text of his speech which was released on the podium during his defection with over 200 supporters and members of APC from Ife East Local Government.
