GOVERNOR ADELEKE CONDOLES GOVERNOR MAKINDE OVER PASSING OF ELDER BROTHER

The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has commiserated with his Oyo State counterpart, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, on the sudden passing of his elder brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.

Governor Adeleke who expressed profound sorrow on the loss of Engr. Sunday Makinde, said the deceased remarkable role in the advancement of Ibadan will be sorely missed.

"I extends my heartfelt condolences to my brother, His Excellency Governor Oluseyi Makinde, for the loss of his beloved brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde. My sympathy also goes to his immediate family, the Aigbofa's family of Oja'ba in Ibadan and the Olubadan-In-Council, who lost a breadwinner, confidant and dedicated community servant," Governor Adeleke noted in a condolences message.

"Engr. Sunday Makinde lived a life full of impacts, playing important role in driving peace and development of his community and Ibadan as a whole. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Engr. Sunday Makinde was known for building consensus, promoting harmony and guide people through challenging times."

While acknowledging his passing as a huge loss not just for his family, but every human that had crossed his path, the Governor urges everyone touched by Engr. Sunday Makinde's passing to honour the progress in our society that the deceased stood for while he was alive and uphold the values that defined his life journey.

"It is my earnest prayer that Almighty God repose his soul and grant him eternal rest and hope that everyone touched by Engr. Sunday Makinde's demise will find comfort in the fact of a life of many impact that he lived."
