Hon. George Alabi Endorses Governor Adeleke's Second Term, Canvasses Support for Ejigbo LG PDP Flag Bearers,

... Commends Hon. Sunday Bisi for transparency and good leadership of PDP in the state.

Today, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State held the flag-off of its campaign for the upcoming local government elections in Ejigbo Local Government Area, with resounding endorsements for Governor Ademola Adeleke:s administration and calls for grassroots mobilization.

The event, presided over by the PDP State Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi, highlighted the party's resolve to maintain its dominance in Osun State politics. 

Hon. Sunday Bisi urged all party members, particularly the candidates, to intensify their engagement with voters, assuring that the State Independent Electoral Commission (OSSIEC) would ensure a free and credible election. He emphasized that a PDP victory in the local government polls would set the stage for an overwhelming re-election of Governor Adeleke in 2026.

Hon. Nafisat Sofoluwe, the PDP Chairmanship candidate for Ejigbo Local Government, expressed appreciation for the party's leadership and support. She lauded Hon. Sunday Bisi for steering the party in the right direction and reiterated her commitment to delivering development to the people of Ejigbo by building on Governor Adeleke's policies in health care, education, agriculture, Infrastructural development and other vital areas.

Hon. George Alabi, the Commissioner for Lands and Urban Development, further reinforced the party's unity by endorsing Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke for a second term in office come 2026. Representing party leaders and members in Ejigbo, Hon. Alabi stated, "the good people of Ejigbo will remain steadfast in their support for His Excellency's transformative leadership, which is reviving the state's economy and uplifting communities." 

He also urged party members to rally behind Hon. Sofoluwe, describing her as a capable leader who would bring accelerated development to Ejigbo Local Government.

The event concluded with Hon. Sunday Bisi officially presenting the party's flag to Hon. Sofoluwe, symbolizing the start of a campaign aimed at consolidating the PDP's achievements and fostering progress in Ejigbo.
