Osun Deputy Speaker Sympathizes with Ipetumodu Community of Fire Outbreak At Akinola Market.
Osogbo, Ja uary 13, 2025.
The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi has expressed his deep sympathy with the people of Ipetumodu in particular and Ife North in general over the loss of properties and valuable goods in a fire incident that engulfed the popular Akinola Market in the town.
Rt. Hon. Oyewusi expressed shock at the ugly incident in a release in Osogbo which was made available to the media today.
In his release, Oyewusi wrote "I deeply sympathize with all the Iyalojas and traders of Akinola Market in the wake of the recent fire outbreak which occurred Friday, 10th January, 2025 and has caused significant loss and distress. I understand the tremendous impact this unfortunate incident has had on you and my heart go out to each and every one of you during this difficult time.
"In moments like these, it is important to remember that adversity, though challenging, is never permanent. The resilience and determination that each of you has shown in building your businesses and contributing to the community are qualities that cannot be extinguished by any setback. You are the heartbeat of our local economy, and together, we will rebuild.
"I encourage you to remain calm and united. We are committed to supporting you in everyway possible.
