Osun Deputy Speaker Congratulates Akande, Adetunji and the 10 newly elected Councillors of Ife North.

The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly has congratulated the Chairman, Vice Chairman and the 10 elected Councillors of Ife North who were all returned elected as announced by the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission today.

Oyewusi in a short message written to Hon. Akande and other elected officers of Ife North Local Government said their emergency as candidates and eventual victory at the polls was made possible with unalloyed supports of all leaders of the party at the state and local government levels.

Hon. Oyewusi particularly have Kudos th the state Chairman of Osun PDP, Hon. Sunday Bisi and the State Working Committee for their exemplary show of good leadership which has helped to unite Ife North stakeholders more than ever before.

He also expressed his profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke for allowing local politics and its peculiarities to play out which he said attributes to the massive acceptability of the elected grassroots legislators by both the party leaders and the electorates all of whom came out enmass today to give their votes in unison to the people they believe will follow the footsteps of Asiwaju Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke when elected into office.

In his words, Oyewusi wrote "I write to congratulate our Chairman-Elect, Hon. Michael Akande, his Vice, Hon. Kola Adetunji, and all the PDP Councilorship candidates on their victories at the poll.

"This victory marks a call to service to join H.E Governor Ademola Adeleke's developmental agenda and commitment to the rapid progress of our Local Government. 

"May your leadership bring progress and positive change to our community," he concluded.
