Osun Local Govt Poll; Senator Fadahunsi Calls For Unity, Declares Osun APC A Political Party Suffering from Catch up syndrome.

Abuja, February 1, 2025.

As the Osun State Local Government Election scheduled for February 22, 2025, draws near, the Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has called on all members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the state, particularly in Osun East, to unite and fully support all PDP candidates contesting across various wards, local governments, and area council of Osun East.

Senator Fadahunsi made this call in his new month goodwill message to the constituents, signed by his media aides. He emphasized that the PDP in Osun State has become a formidable political force, unbeatable by any opposition party, thanks to the unparalleled governance and transformational projects executed by Governor Ademola Adeleke over the past two years.

According to him, Governor Adeleke has deeply impacted the lives of Osun citizens with historic infrastructural developments, good healthcare, social welfare programmes, and other people-oriented policies. The Senator further stated that beyond the Governor’s outstanding leadership, Osun PDP lawmakers at the state and federal levels have also been actively complementing his efforts to uplift and alleviate people out of poverty.

“It is evident that every family in Osun State has benefitted from this administration in one way or another. If the APC had any sense of shame, they would not even contest this election. The party has lost all credibility to the PDP due to the exceptional leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke,” Senator Fadahunsi remarked.

The Senator, therefore, urged all PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members to set aside internal differences and work collectively to mobilize the electorate across Osun East in support of PDP candidates in the upcoming February 22nd Local Government Election.

“Now is not the time to focus on internal disagreements. It is time to unite and stand firm against our common political opponents. The APC is gone, and we must ensure they do not return to power in Osun State,” he declared.

The Senator concluded by wishing all residents of Osun East and beyond a prosperous and fulfilling month ahead.
