TODAY'S RULING HAS NO LINK TO APP JUDGEMENT SACKING YES/NO COUNCIL BOSSES- OSUN APP CHAIRMAN

Osogbo, February 10, 2025.

In the case of the Judgement delivered in the case filled by Action Peoples Party (APP) Vs APC and OSSIEC granted as of November 30, 2022 remain unchanged. And it's effective . Today's Appeal Court judgement has nothing to do with APP judgement.

We in APP want to use this opportunity to urge the public to note that the APP judgement has no bearing on today's court decision and its validity remain unaffected.

I would also like to address the false rumour circulating about Yes or No election candidates returning to office. Please be assured that there is no such order.

Additionally, today's judgement has no impact on the upcoming local government election scheduled for February 22, 2025. This election is very important for development of our democracy. The election will proceed as planned and I want to encourage all eligible voters to get ready to perform their civic duty.

Let us remain calm, focused, and committed to the democratic process. Avoid distraction and let us go out and exercise our civic duty.
