We, the undersigned leaders, elders, and committed stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oriade Local Government, Osun State gathered in unity and purpose at a crucial meeting held in Ijebu-Jesa, hereby declare our collective resolutions in pursuit of progress, peace, and people-focused governance.

𝟏. 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐤𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐃𝐏

With a deep sense of pride and loyalty, we reassert our absolute commitment to the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, whose governance continues to reflect the values of inclusiveness, transparency, and empathy.

We acknowledge his transformational approach to leadership, which prioritizes people over politics and development over division. Under his stewardship, Osun State has experienced a new dawn—where the dignity of the citizen is restored, and the machinery of government is attuned to the real needs of the masses.

We also reaffirm our allegiance to the leadership of the PDP at every level—ably steered at the state level by the resolute Hon. Sunday Bisi, and within Oriade by the steady hands of Prince. Samuel Adeloye and our council of elders, whose guidance continues to fortify the party’s foundation.

In the PDP, we have found not just a political platform, but a family of shared destiny and a structure built on sacrifice and service.

𝟮. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

The story of development in Oriade is being rewritten by Governor Adeleke, not in speeches but in projects, not with promises but with performance.

From the renovation of healthcare centres and revitalization of schools to road infrastructure, electrification projects, and empowerment initiatives—the Governor has proven that leadership is about delivering results, not rehearsing rhetoric.

These achievements are not abstract concepts but tangible improvements felt in the daily lives of our people. Mothers now access safer maternal care. Students study under better conditions. Traders move their goods with greater ease. The rural poor are no longer forgotten.

In light of these life-enhancing impacts, we rise collectively to applaud Governor Adeleke for his people-centred governance, which aligns perfectly with the ethos of the PDP: to serve, to empower, and to uplift.

𝟯. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

We warmly receive the Governor’s renewed assurances of continued development in Oriade. His vision for this region has always been holistic, and his track record gives us every reason to trust in his word.

We are confident that the road ahead will bring deeper investment in human capital, infrastructure, and social welfare. As stakeholders, we pledge to serve as partners in this journey—ensuring that promises made are translated into enduring legacies.

Our people are eager. Our wards are ready. Our local government stands prepared to support the realization of every developmental blueprint designed for Oriade.

𝟰. 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

After careful reflection and unanimous consensus, we, the leaders and stakeholders of Oriade PDP, officially declare Governor Ademola Adeleke as our sole candidate for the 2026 gubernatorial election.

This is not a mere political endorsement—it is a statement of belief in a man who has proven himself worthy of higher mandates. His leadership has brought light where there was once neglect and unity where there was fragmentation.

We commit ourselves—individually and collectively—to the task of mobilizing voters, galvanizing grassroots structures, and securing a landslide victory for Governor Adeleke in Oriade and beyond. In him, we see the present hope and the future fulfilment of Osun’s aspirations.

𝟱. 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

We must cast aside personal differences and rally around the banner of collective progress. Let no ward be left behind. Let no voice feel unheard. Our strength lies not in numbers alone but in the harmony of purpose that binds us together.

Now is the time to reactivate our grassroots structures, empower our youth and women wings, and deepen our engagements at the community level. Let us raise the flag of PDP high, from street to street, ward to ward, heart to heart.
