Easter: Akinleye Greets Christians, Urges them To Emulate Christ's Sacrifice.

Osogbo, April 20, 2025.


Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, the Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor has felicitated with Christians all over the world on the occasion of commemorating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Akinleye, in a release issued and personally signed by him described the Easter period as a time to remember the selfless service of Jesus Christ to redeemed the sins of the people while on earth.

He said, Christians, especially should see this season as a season of reflection of love, selfless service and upholding unity among themselves as it was taught by the crucifixtion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The Osun CoS urged Christians to emulate the virtues of love, sacrifice, and unity laid by Jesus Christ, not only within the Christian faith but also across religious and ethnic lines.

He urged them to use the celebration of Easter to show love, kindness to people around them irrespective of their religion and ethnicity as a reflection of the teaching of Jesus Christ.

"This season is the season of love, therefore, we must extend the love of christ to all and sundry as true believers”

"I want to urged us all, to use this period to pray for the success of the current administration in the state, pray for the governor and his cabinet members, let's seek peace of our Jerusalem, which is our dear state, Osun.”

He enjoined the Christians to be moderate in celebration and share love with the less privileged ones in our society.
