Adewusi Hails Staff For Unwavering Support As Office Erupts In Jubilation.
Osogbo, August 25, 2026.
The office of the Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kola Adewusi, was on Monday filled with shouts of praise and enthusiastic display as staff gathered to celebrate the victory and re-election of the current administration.
The atmosphere was charged with excitement, songs, and words of appreciation as workers expressed joy over what they described as another mandate well-deserved by the people-oriented government of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
In his address to the elated staff, the Deputy Governor expressed deep appreciation for their commitment, loyalty, and tireless support throughout the electioneering process and governance so far.
Prince Adewusi noted that the victory recorded by the administration would not have been possible without the dedication of his team, stressing that their efforts culminated in the overwhelming support the government enjoyed at the polls.
According to him, the support from his staff and Osun people at large can never be taken for granted. He said the people of Osun, and workers in particular, have chosen the path of light and progress instead of retrogressiveness packaged in disguised postures.
The Deputy Governor commended civil servants for standing firm with the government, adding that their resilience has become a reference point in the ongoing transformation across the state.
He further pledged to sustain a more cordial relationship with his staff, assuring them that his doors remain open for dialogue, suggestions, and collaboration that will advance service delivery.
Prince Adewusi reaffirmed the commitment of the Adeleke-led administration to delivering more dividends of democracy to the people, saying workers will continue to be prioritized in policies and welfare packages.
In their goodwill messages, key officers in the Deputy Governor’s office also expressed gratitude. The Director of the Office, Mr. M.A. Saka; the Director of Finance and Account, Mrs. Omileye T Bukola; Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Goke Awoyemi; and Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Media, Mr. Adewale Adediran, among others, pledged continued dedication to duty.
The event ended on a high note with prayers, solidarity songs, and renewed commitment by staff to support the administration in delivering good governance and sustaining the developmental strides recorded across Osun State.
