Emulate the Exemplary Life of Prophet Muhammad: Aare Asejere Charges Muslim Ummah on Eid Mawlid Nabiy.

Osogbo,  August 25, 2026.

The Osun Central Senatorial District Accord Candidate for the 2027 National Assembly Election, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, has congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah across Osun State, particularly Muslims in the Osun Central Senatorial District, on the occasion of Eid Mawlid Nabiyy 1448 AH, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In his congratulatory message, Aare Asejere urged Muslims to use the occasion to reflect on and emulate the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of sacrifice, compassion, humility, patience, justice and service to humanity.

“Today, I join Muslims across Osun State and Nigeria in celebrating the birth of the greatest teacher of humanity, Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him), whose life remains an enduring example of love, peace, compassion and service to humanity.

“I felicitate and identify with all our Muslim leaders, clerics, brothers and sisters on this blessed occasion of Eid Mawlid Nabiyy 1448 AH/2026. May this celebration renew our faith and inspire us to live by the noble teachings and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet.”

Aare Asejere also charged the Muslim Ummah to continue praying for the unity, peace, stability and prosperity of Nigeria, stressing that a peaceful and united society is essential for sustainable development and growth.

He called on residents across Osun State to continue to prioritise peace, unity, mutual respect and harmonious relationships, while urging everyone to remain law-abiding and contribute positively to the development of the state and nation.

He further prayed for divine wisdom, justice and fairness for the nation's leaders at all levels.

“My prayer on this Mawlid is that Almighty Allah grants our leaders the wisdom, courage and understanding to lead with justice and fairness, and blesses Nigeria with enduring peace, unity and prosperity.”

Aare Asejere wished all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous and spiritually rewarding celebration, praying that the blessings of the occasion would continue to abide with the Muslim Ummah, Osun State and Nigeria.
