The Deputy Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abidemi Akinyode Oyewusi on behalf of all leaders of Ife North Local Government area of Osun State has expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Osun State, his deputy and all the contingents that accompanied the Governor to Ife North for the commissioning of Tonkere Road and the TICC Campaign on Friday, 31st July, 2026.

Rt. Hon. Oyewusi in an appreciation letter which was made available to the press by his Chief Press Secretary, Segun Amure wrote "I sincerely appreciate His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, for his impactful campaign visit to Ife North.

"My gratitude also goes to the Deputy Governor, His Excellency,  Prince Kola Adewusi, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adewale Olumide Egbedun, Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Chief Teslim Igbalaye commissioners, lawmakers, party leaders, stakeholders, Royal Fathers, religious leaders and all dignitaries who graced the occasion.

"To the good people of Ife North, supporters, youths, women, community leaders, and well-wishers who came out in their numbers, I say thank you. Your overwhelming turnout was a strong statement of confidence in a government that has continued to deliver people-centred development in our local government and across Osun State.

"From the completion of the 10.4km Edunabon–Tonkere Road to other critical road interventions across Ife North, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration has demonstrated commitment to opening up communities and improving lives.

"Just as Ife North spoke decisively in 2022, the people have once again shown their readiness to sustain the progress and support the Governor’s re-election bid on August 15, 2026.
