ASEJERE MEDIA TEAM DISMISSES K-RAD’S ALLEGATIONS AS POLITICAL PROPAGANDA.

Says attempt to link Aare Asejere to alleged destruction of campaign materials is misleading and baseless.

Osogbo,  October 10, 2026.

The Asejere Media Team has dismissed the allegations by the media team of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District, Barrister Kunle Adegoke (SAN), popularly known as K-RAD, accusing supporters of the Accord Party candidate, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, of destroying campaign materials.

The allegation, as reported by Osun Life on October 10, 2026, is an attempt to associate Aare Asejere and his supporters with alleged misconduct without establishing their responsibility for the incident. The Asejere Media Team considers the accusation misleading and politically motivated, particularly when presented in a manner capable of creating a negative impression of the Accord candidate and his supporters.

The attempt to portray Aare Asejere’s campaign as intolerant or hostile through unsubstantiated allegations is unfair and unacceptable. Political competition should be guided by facts, mutual respect and the presentation of credible ideas, not insinuations designed to discredit opponents.

It is unfortunate that an issue involving campaign materials is being used to generate unnecessary political tension. Osun Central deserves a mature political contest in which candidates are assessed on their records, leadership experience, vision and commitment to the development of the district, rather than narratives intended to distract the electorate.

Aare Asejere remains focused on his senatorial ambition and engagement with the people of Osun Central. His political aspiration should not be subjected to attempts to manufacture controversy or associate his campaign with misconduct through allegations that have not been substantiated.

The K-RAD Media Team must recognise that making an accusation does not automatically establish its truth. Political communication carries a responsibility to be fair, measured and mindful of the consequences of public statements.

The Asejere Media Team therefore rejects the attempt to use the reported incident to tarnish the image of Aare Asejere and the Accord movement. The people of Osun Central deserve issue-based engagement, responsible political communication and candidates who focus on the concerns of the electorate.

The 2027 senatorial contest should be about representation, development and service to the people not political distractions and unsubstantiated allegations.

Signed:

Asejere Media Team.
