Today, October 2026, the Media Unit of the Office of the Deputy Governor of Osun State proudly joins family, friends, associates, political colleagues and well-wishers across the state and beyond to celebrate an exceptional leader and an illustrious son of Ile-Ife, His Excellency, Prince Kolawole Solomon Adegboyega Adewusi, Deputy Governor of Osun State.

Born into the prestigious Moloda Royal Compound of the Ogboru Royal House of Ile-Ife, Prince Adewusi carries with him the rich heritage of royalty, service, humility and responsibility. His journey in public service reflects a deep commitment to the people and the development of Osun State.

As a former Chairman of Ife East Local Government, former Special Adviser to the Government of Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and former Exco Member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Osun State, he has continued to demonstrate remarkable experience, loyalty and dedication to public service.

As Deputy Governor, he has distinguished himself as loyal, dependable, reliable and a trustworthy number two man to his Principal , Asiwaju Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke. His amiable disposition, accessibility, reasonableness and commitment to the people have earned him respect and admiration across political divides.

Beyond politics and public office, Prince Adewusi remains a devout Christian, a God-fearing man, a responsible father and a devoted husband. His humility, integrity and transparent approach to financial stewardship are qualities that continue to set him apart.

Today, we celebrate not only a Deputy Governor, but a man whose life represents service, integrity, compassion, loyalty and responsible leadership.
