TEACHER'S DAY MESSAGE FROM HIS EXCELLENCY, PRINCE KOLA ADEWUSI.

TEACHER'S DAY MESSAGE FROM HIS EXCELLENCY, PRINCE KOLA ADEWUSI.

Osogbo, September 5, 2026,

I, Prince Kola Adewusi, Deputy Governor of Osun State, on behalf of the Government of Osun State, join millions of Nigerians to celebrate our teachers today on the occasion of World Teachers' Day. This is a special day to honour the men and women who have dedicated their lives to building our nation through the classroom.

On this occasion, I salute all teachers in Nigeria in general for your selfless service, patience, and sacrifice. You are the true builders of the nation. Every doctor, lawyer, engineer, governor, and president passed through a teacher. The future of Nigeria rests in your hands, and you have not failed in carrying this great responsibility despite the challenges. Your reward will not go unrewarded.

In a special way, I celebrate our gallant teachers in Osun State, from primary to secondary and tertiary institutions. You are the pride of our dear state. Your efforts in nurturing our children, instilling discipline, morals, and knowledge in them are highly commendable. The Administration of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke deeply appreciates your contributions to the growth of education in Osun and your support for our agenda to reposition the education sector.

This government will continue to prioritize teachers' welfare, training, and motivation because we know that no education system can rise above the quality of its teachers. We are committed to creating a more conducive environment for teaching and learning across the state.

Once again, I say Happy Teacher's Day to all teachers. May God continue to strengthen you, bless your labour of love, and grant you long life to reap the fruits of your labour.

E-Signed,

His Excellency, Prince Kola Adewusi,
Deputy Governor, Osun State.
