As Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere demonstrated that meaningful development begins at the grassroots.

Under his leadership, the Ministry strengthened community participation and delivered initiatives that directly impacted communities across Osun State, including:

* Conduct of Local, Zonal and State elections for Community Development Councils (CDCs) in 2024.

* Inauguration of elected CDC executives, giving communities stronger representation and a voice in development.

* Procurement of five operational vehicles to strengthen CDC mobilisation and community engagement.

* Annual seminars on unconventional security, equipping communities with knowledge to respond to local security challenges.

* Distribution of security apparatus to support community-based security efforts.

* Training on food and nutrition for community stakeholders.

* Distribution of improved agricultural seedlings to community stakeholders to support food production and livelihoods.

This is not a promise of what he will do. It is a record of what he has done.
