The Accord Candidate for Osun Central Senatorial District,Aare Ganiyu Ayobami Olaoluwa Asejere, has congratulated the Vice-Chancellor of Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Prof. Clement Adebooye, on the approval of a two-year extension of his tenure by the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Aare Asejere described the extension as a well-deserved vote of confidence in Prof. Adebooye’s leadership, commitment and contributions to the growth and development of the university.

He also congratulated the newly inaugurated UNIOSUN Governing Council, led by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Prof. Wale Oladipo, describing the reconstitution of the council as a positive step towards strengthening the administration and consolidating the progress of the institution.

Aare Asejere commended Governor Adeleke for retaining Prof. Oladipo, noting that his experience and understanding of the university system would be valuable in providing stability, effective leadership and continuity.

He expressed confidence that the Governing Council, working in harmony with the Vice-Chancellor and management, would build on the university’s achievements and further position UNIOSUN among leading universities in Nigeria and Africa.

He wished Prof. Adebooye, Prof. Wale Oladipo and all members of the Governing Council a successful and impactful tenure, with prayers for wisdom and strength as they steer the affairs of the institution.
