KOLA ADEWUSI CELEBRATES OONI OF IFE AT 52

The Deputy Governor of Osun State, Prince Kolawole Adewusi, has felicitated the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Arole Oduduwa, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday.

In a congratulatory message released on Friday through his Media Unit, Prince Adewusi described the Ooni as an excellent custodian of the sacred historical and cultural heritage of the entire Yoruba race.

He noted that the influence of the revered monarch transcends the Yoruba Kingdom, cutting across states and national affairs.

According to the Deputy Governor, the Ooni's contributions to national discourses have always helped to promote unity, peace and progress across the country.

Prince Adewusi further praised the first-class monarch for his immense contributions to the fast pace of development witnessed across Ile-Ife and for his constant support for the progressive government of Osun State under the Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke.

The Deputy Governor prayed for long life, prosperity and increased wisdom for the royal father as he continues to reign on the throne of his forebears.
